Mark Galvez
Some people go there by luck, others think what they did is the main reason they attained it, and very few understand how to get there.
Choosing whom to trust in anything, like voting in an election, returning a good result to you is a must.
To the person affected by this, the finger is pointed at you, whether your choice is right or wrong.
Drilling Down
We will repeat it until it sticks in your mind - our goal is to get you to a place where you confidently know that what you're following is for your good in the long run.
We have no problem receiving flawed advice about money because we don’t always follow it anyway.
It’s up to you to think about it constantly. Let’s focus on whenever you do think about it - at least at that moment, you know how to choose.
Iisa Lang
Trust can also run out when you always base your money decisions on just one source.
What’s worse is when they tell you to listen only to them because they have money, and to ignore others who don’t have much.
You may improve because of some of their talks, but that doesn’t mean you accept everything they give you.
Just Maybe
Then you will think, is it reasonable to follow those people who already achieved what you want to achieve?
Think again.
One participant in every session is given a large amount of money as a starting value, while the others start with a small amount.
The behavior of the person with a large amount of money as a starter tends to be more positive, and he enjoys the game compared to people with a small amount.
This can be observed when a successful person is asked where they attribute their success.
This naturally leads to the creation of their philosophy, an outcome of their biased perspective, while eliminating anything that contradicts that.
Linawin Mo
Okay. Let’s clear some things here.
Even if that can come from a seemingly useless thing or person at the outset.
Having this helps me navigate every interaction like going with the flow while knowing when to get off if enough time and effort were given to understand it, which turns out to be useless.
When I wake up in reality, I still have a lens that filters those blurry thoughts from others and focuses on the details that matter.
Given Expression
May napanood ako at may magandang linya na sinabi ang nagsasalita.
“You only need to learn 5% more than the person you are talking to looks smart.”
Of course, I knew it was an exaggeration to make the video more interesting and funny.
Applicable in finance, where many suggest doing that, following this, sticking to those, and more.
Whatever flavor you like, be mindful that the advice should be observed - it can be useful to you or not, or worse, can harm you.
Binoto Mo
This can clear your thought process (or not, because you are too invested in your belief) for every encounter you can have.
I call this Autonomous Ballot.
Away from the detrimental effects of emotion, peer influence, or social pressure.
1. Determine Point
The advice can work in different contexts, but not on something you care about.
Those:
It can be hints of the validity of the advice, but it doesn’t fully explain the reason why it will be effective for you.
Even though they said to help you, the first thing that came to their mind was to validate the belief they already have.
2. Apply Equality
Equal opportunity is booming right now as an ideology in race, ability, sex, and other.
There is no need to blame, as most of the time, it is the thing that works.
Reading the book The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley will make you realize that most wealthy people do not have a glamorous appearance.
The outside look matters, but in terms of money, what is in the pocket (metaphorically speaking) counts more than the purchased items.
3. See Colors
Maging maingat ka sa limitado ang pag-iisip.
Those people who default to black if the color is not white.
Every situation has its complexity, and one solution is not always applicable to all problems.
The advice on saving money may be correct, but doing it alone is not always the right choice.
Or stop it if you’re unable to live properly (don’t be a fool to think that saving is the best choice here).
4. Be Careful
Dahan-dahan sa lahat ng payong matatanggap mo.
You may realize now that even though you accept the advice, you still need to think about it from time to time for its validity.
May kwenta ba ‘yon sa’yo lagi sa oras na may pagkakataon kang gamitin?
There’s a chance that the value was only present at the start, but diminishes later.
Whatever that is, it’s your job to notice it.
As you update your lifestyle, its feasibility is always in question.
5. Don’t Stick
Hindi mo makukuha lahat sa isang bagay, kahit tindahan pa ‘yan na may linyang “we got it all for you”.
A particular topic can be his expertise, but only a general concept on others.
To be well-versed and not tied to one teaching (our main goal from the start), explore and create a connection to other references.
We already did this when doing school assignments, you may have forgotten that cross-checking is also crucial in taking people’s advice.
The Winner
I want to emphasize how to think when receiving words about the “correct” thing in money.
Even my advice, use the Autonomous Ballot, I’m not an exception here (still, I appreciate the trust you’re giving me).
But if you think mine is good enough for you to take into consideration, you can receive it through
There is a chance that you will miss the right choice; it’s part of the process.
Hayaan mo na, nangyari na e.
Remember also that the most important thing is the Grand Strategy - winning the war and not just about winning a battle.
Nevertheless, always value what you choose right now, as it will affect you in the future.
