Kumita Hanggang Makita Ang Gusto

Available on YouTube and Spotify

Starting from zero can happen to you multiple times.

Lugar na nakasanayan, taong nakakasalamuha, gawaing tinatapos, o layunin na gustong makamtam.

The popular one is having money.

Transitioning from receiving allowances to earning a living on your own.

Few dwell on what they call “business", while most proceed to have a job.

Business is the best long-term option as you need time, funds, and effort to reap its rewards (considering you will be successful in it).

It is becoming a buffer for one's progress that doesn’t have a great effect like a broken slingshot.

Sometimes, you should be paying because of its tremendous effect on your career.

Hintayin Lang Muna

The short-term consequence is not impactful as you don’t have that many financial dependents.

You tend to rely on your false hope, expecting suitable work to come to you as long as you wait.

It’s quite regrettable, to be honest with you.

Rather than creating projects that can help you become one of the best candidates for your job, you choose to play games and always be in service to someone’s interests.

Aksayado talaga.

Stagnantly Fresh

I know someone close to me who is in this bucket.

Despite graduating from college, the first job this person chooses doesn’t correlate to his degree - a high school diploma is the basic requirement.

Mukhang ganado naman siya. Kaso ang naging ekesana, napagod-nahirapan-tumigil.

This is expected as the work is physically demanding - the complete opposite of his degree, which focuses more on mental work.

Various job opportunities are being given as part of help to him, but he is picky after reading the job descriptions.

But in my evaluation, it’s far from reality.

Still, I wish him the best.

Sining Ng Kaartehan

Leading to the undesirable path of always starting from scratch.

You choose work that doesn’t complement the existing skills going to your target position.

Gusto mo kasi magaan lang.

You dwell on the parts of things you don’t want.

Because what you really want, is to do the bare minimum without realizing the stagnation of your career.

Fruits Of Labor

"

You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today.

"

- Abraham Lincoln

It can attain the real continuous build of progress.

You will have realistic expectations to know if that is right for you.

The opportunity to have a positive multiplier in your assets arises compared before - as zero work multiple by any length of time is equal to zero return.

Being resourceful rather than waiting for what you want to have.

We make sure that the flow is on the positive side.

Eliminate those egotistical tendencies that don’t link to results for your particular goal.

Observing the possibilities of mistakes in each action we could take based on the scope of our current perception.

This is better than doing damage control later.

May ginawa akong basehan na pwede mong sundan.

Buffer To Progress

Earnable Dive Illustration

This guideline is based on the first and second dots of my free quick-read book, DOFF (Dots Of Financial Freedom).

Tawag ko dito ay Earnable Dive.

Like swimmers who dive into the water, there are 5 points it goes through.

1. Start Somewhere

Kahit saan man ‘yan, magsimula ka.

If you encounter a situation where, as a fresh graduate, you want to have a job to get experience, but the job itself requires you to have one, there’s a solution.

It can be through:

  • Internship or OJT (On-the-Job Training)
  • Project creation

Posibleng ginawa mo ‘yan ng may bayad o wala.

It doesn’t matter.

Ang mahalaga ay may ebidensya ka.

Certificate of completion or finished output.

Waiting is not an option here if the time you spend on it will not increase the chance of your acceptance.

2. Get Your Edge

This point focuses on the term Specific Knowledge, coined by Naval Ravikant (an Indian-born American entrepreneur and investor).

This can’t be learned and passed down to others, it is unique to you.

It can be you who comprehends computer programming, playing guitar, kickboxing, electrical wiring, persuasive writing, video editing, etc.

The interpretation, method, and connection make it specific knowledge.

Know what that is for you.

3. Form Career Leverage

This is the formation of your career leverage.

Don’t be blinded by the popular advice of “follow your passion.”

Passion is built, not found.

I picked this idea after reading the book So Good They Can't Ignore You by Cal Newport.

Creating a solid career takes time and reasonable choices.

4. Aim For Remains

Nasa kalagitnaan ka na ng byahe.

You built the momentum that can bring you to your desired destination.

Income is always linked to its possible usage, which leads to expense.

But, we don’t want to work continuously so you can sustain your spending.

Siguraduhin na laging may natitira.

Liabilities (things that get the money from you) are tempting, especially in the status game.

Enjoy the present while making sure that your future is being built with the help of your positive cash flow.

5. Ingrain In Subconscious

It’s expected but not our main goal.

This can be done through habit accumulation.

Stick to the plan - it will become second nature to you with time and repeated effort.

Being conscious of it creates the opportunity to increase the playing field until you reach your planned height.

The actual effect of the Earnable Dive will be observed after you dive yourself.

The beauty of my given guideline lies in its room for your preferred stunt.

It has the same effect when you subscribe to my newsletter.

Don’t fight the flow; go with it.

Know the tools and skills to navigate your way efficiently.
